How it all started....
This competition was started in 2024 by a few former Karaoke contestants and administrators. We firmly belive in creating a space where everyone is truly welcomed and the interest of all stakeholders is at the forefront of all that we do.
A team of likeminded individuals gathered in Federal Way, Washington in the conference room of the Greater Federal way Chamber of Commerce, to brainstorm what this contest should look like. After countless hours of discussion and deliberation, there came the birth of GLOBAL KARAOKE SHOWDOWN.

The vision of the Karaoke Cup is to foster an inclusive place of community, diversity and belonging through music, outreach and fellowship.

The mission of the Karaoke Cup is to provide an elevated platform for amateur singers around the world to showcase their talent and expertise.
